March 2025 Sunday School Lesson
The March lessons are collectively called "Tabernacle, Sacrifices, and Atonement," and the five lessons are drawn from the books of Exodus and Leviticus. The message emphasizes God's covenant with Israel, the instructions for building the Tabernacle, the consecration of priests, and the sacrificial system for atonement and worship.
March 2 Lesson 1: "Bound by Love," God establishes His covenant with Israel at Mount Sinai, calling them to obedience and holiness. Exodus 19:1-14
Corporate worship is when we reflect, repent and celebrate. How do you prepare for corporate worship?
Before attending your next worship service, consider what steps you can take to remind yourself of God's holiness.
Create a routine that reminds you to reverence God.
Note ways you can intentionally honor God in your home as well as church settings.
March 9 Lesson 2:
"Pitching a Tent,"God provides detailed instructions for constructing the Tabernacle as His dwelling place among His people
. Exodus 25:1-9; 26:1, 31-37 What are the ways you have sacrificed for the church where you worship?
How can you continue to ensure it remains a vibrant place of worship?
March 16 Lesson 3:
"Preparation for Service," the consecration of priests is outlined, highlighting their role in mediating between God and Israel.
Exodus 29:1-9, 35-37 What are you called to do in ministry?
Consider what activities or ministry roles bring you joy when you are able to participate in them.
March 23 Lesson 4: "Up in Smoke," the burnt offering is described as a means of atonement, symbolizing complete devotion to God. Leviticus 1:3-17
How do you keep the fire of your faith burning?
Develop a personal worship routine outside of your church's corporate worship schedule.
Ensure you commit to having regular prayer, fasting, Scripture reading, and personal devotional time.
Also consider giving and acts of service as a means of personal and devotional sacrifice.
March 30 Lesson 5: "What a Day!" The Day of Atonement rituals demonstrate God's provision for the forgiveness of sins and the purification of His people. Leviticus 16:11-19
"Hurt people hurt people" and many of us have experience or are aware of "church hurts".
This week, encourage a church member, co-worker or family member to forgive.
Share the great sacrifice of Christ's love and the need for us to model it before others.
Healed people heal people.
