Church Vision Statement:

Our purpose at the Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church is to Exalt the Savior, Equip the Saints, Evangelize the Sinner, and Enhance Society with an Excellent Spirit, doing everything in a manner that will be pleasing to the Lord.

Church Vision Statement:
The Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church will be a church where lives are transformed through holistic ministry. We seek to minster to the whole-person (mind, body, and spirit). We will be a ministry where our total and complete focus will be on God our Father, Jesus Christ our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit our Guide. We seek to evangelize the sinner, educate the saints, and empower God’s people for the work of ministry.
We shall be a ministry where people can comfortably praise, worship, and serve the Lord, fulfilling the biblical goals for the church as outlined in Acts 2:41-47. As Christ loves all people, we shall reach out in love to all people, regardless of race, age, gender, educational level or economic status. We believe that the Church is not just a place to experience spiritual birth, but a place to grow in spiritual maturity and to become fully equipped for every good work God has planned.
 We seek to make a difference in the lives of the individuals in our immediate community as well as in the lives of individuals around the world by sharing the good news of the gospel with them every time we are granted the opportunity to do so. Our commitment is to Christ and our foundation is the Word of God in its entirety.
